For the longest I was sure that I didn't want to grow up, but now that I actually have to, I've found that it isn't too terribly awful....

trick or treat
I know this may be a letdown to see that I've posted and then discover that it's just a YouTube video, but I just had to share this:
Aww what the heck, here's some pictures from the Halloween festivities I participated in:
Abbey and Madison at IHOP after our excursion through the haunted corn maze
Mitchell and Dan trying to pop straws
A week before Halloween LSU played Auburn and we beat the tar out of them. I had a few friends over (Abbey, Clay and Dan, who just graduated from Auburn - bless his heart) to watch the game and carve pumpkins
Fall colors outside of your friendly neighborhood Books-A-Million
Me as a cowgirl at our YSA Halloween dance (with some photobombers)
Dancing to "Cotton-Eye Joe"
I wouldn't let go of my gun because everyone wanted to play with it
I had a lot of energy for the first hour or so...
Cinderella and Annie Oakley
There's a new sheriff in town
And one last trick....
Loren's boyfriend Philip was Nacho Libre for Halloween...at least he doesn't have the body of Jack Black (he's on LSU's cross country team)
If I had told my kids that I had eaten all of their candy it would have been an ugly scene. that nacho libre dude is crazy! You could pull off a costume like that in most climates in October
Sarah, Thank you so much for posting on your blog! You look so nice as a cowgirl. Your face just glows. I thought those kids at the end of the video were so cute, but I felt kind of sad for the other ones. Can you imagine what would have happened if I had done that to you guys?
It's a post-Halloween miracle...you finally posted on your blog!! LOVE IT! Great pictures and videos -made me chuckle. You look just darlin' as a cowgirl!
I like to think that I'm a pretty well-rounded person. I'm not spectacular at sports or playing the piano but I love doing both to the best of my abilities. I love curling up on my bed with a good book when it rains and cutting grass out in the yard when it shines. I don't really have one particular passion, but I know what I like and dislike. I'm the youngest of seven, which definitely has its drawbacks, but being an aunt to four adorable nephews and six gorgeous nieces seems to make everything worth it. I value my close friends right up there under my famiily and my faith. I love life and I feel very blessed with what I have.

Girl, you look hot as heck in that cowgirl outfit. Where'd you get them boots?
Quelle bonne surprise! How nice to see a new post. Looks like you had fun and you do look great as a cowgirl.
