a mother's love

One of my favorite billboard's in Natchitoches is for Red's Ribs - their tagline is "More tender than a mother's love". It makes me think of these pictures I took when I made it home for spring break, as Tim was on his way out. The first is a family inside joke, but my favorite is the last, Mom's "if you speed, you die" speech.

I'll have to ask Nathan what the inside joke is. I love the last picture too. Those must be some tender ribs! Have you ever tried them?

Erin, I don't know as Nathan knows it, just Mary, Sarah and I. I'll tell you some time.
I promise I wasn't wringing Tim's neck, but I may wring Sarah's next time I see her for posting these photos.

I love the last picture! Shows the real deal of the lecture. Let me see, is this the inside joke? We forced Tim as a youngster to dress up as a girl and then took his pictures in front of that bush and he spontaneously struck that very feminine pose on his own? Ha! Hadn't thought about that in ages...thanks for the laugh!

i forgot about the timweena thing! the inside joke i was referring to was about our little cousin taylor ( or maybe it was diana) striking that pose whenever someone said their were going to take a picture. mom does that all the time now.

That lecture pose is a classic and I'm sure the rest of us are relieved to be an amused observer instead of the deserving recipient.

Great pics! Glad my folks don't have that lecture. Is it bad to admit that speeding is my guilty pleasure?
