Erin taught me how to play the harp. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be (not that it was easy, but it wasn't like trying to play the bagpipes or something), I guess since I play the pianer. Anyways I really enjoyed playing and wish someone around here in BR had one that I could practice on.
I guess you could call me a harpy now.
On second thought, please don't.
Anyways here is my debut - playing a piece called 'Sebastian' from the movie 'Brideshead Revisited'- accentuated by Becky's commentary on Nathan's book. :DWho could resist a chocolatey Mimi face?!

After Lizzy opened her presents at home, we busted out her new 3D sidewalk chalk to give it a try. I tried to get some pictures of her with our artwork, and this is what I got:Explorer Lizzy.

So Mimi and I became best buds on this trip. Our conversations consisted of her either saying, "Hey Sarah" over and over and sticking her tongue out......or an insult fest in which we would say, "You're da baby!" to each other back and forth. I guess we were both right.
So that's all I've got on the reunion - I hope you're satisfied. :D

Mimi misses you. Occasionally she will try to start a "you da baby" conversation with us and she always says "sarah's da baby".

Love your pictures Sarah! Who else would have thought to get a shot of the roaches? You captured so much about everyone: Lucy's stinkeye, Lizzy's personality, Ethan's exuberance, Jonathan's spunkiness, Lydia's prettiness and Mimi's two-year-oldness. Not bad for someone who's da baby!
I'm with you, Dad...we missed out! There's just so much here that I can't remember everything I wanted to comment on: roaches, cool stuff in the museum, awesomest summer b-day cake ever (are those graham cracker crumbs?), adorable pics of Lizzy and then Mimi's voice is just the cutest thing in this world. Great post!

We have looked at this post over and over. All the kids, Joseph and I crowded around the computer last night and enjoyed it. You are hilarious! "The only roaches I like are the dead ones...!" Fun pictures, fun post! I'm sorry I talked so much in your harp debut recording...I love my BABY sister!
