For the longest I was sure that I didn't want to grow up, but now that I actually have to, I've found that it isn't too terribly awful....

converted
While the Shulers were in town, we visited LSU and of course the gift shop by the stadium. I think I've converted them and made a whole new family of Tigers!
(Don't worry, they didn't buy any of this merchandise!)
I wish I had gotten the Tiger Tot shirt for Juliette...it was so cute! Hey you know we are ALREADY LSU fans, with loyal Matthew wear his LSU tiger shirt on Fridays before football games amongst all the FSU and UF fans here!!! (And of course when basketball season rolls around, the boys wear the DUKE colors!!) Last year when LSU beat Florida (whom we fiercely hate) I had Matthew wear his LSU shirt the Monday after the game. His music teacher's children went to UF and she was all offended! She asked Mrs. Marlene (who was subbing at Matthew's school that day) about it because she knew that Joseph went to FSU. Mrs. Marlene explained that I was from Louisiana and that Matthew's Aunt Sarah and Uncle Tim went to LSU! Go Tigers! Nathan and Erin, don't you worry, when basketball season rolls around we'll be sporting our Kansas Jayhawk National Championship t-shirts with pride! I wear mine all the time, but with Joseph's being long sleeved, he has to wait until cooler weather!
I like to think that I'm a pretty well-rounded person. I'm not spectacular at sports or playing the piano but I love doing both to the best of my abilities. I love curling up on my bed with a good book when it rains and cutting grass out in the yard when it shines. I don't really have one particular passion, but I know what I like and dislike. I'm the youngest of seven, which definitely has its drawbacks, but being an aunt to four adorable nephews and six gorgeous nieces seems to make everything worth it. I value my close friends right up there under my famiily and my faith. I love life and I feel very blessed with what I have.

It looks like Joseph would fit right in with the zillions of rabid LSU football fans.
