memory lane

Here is a totally different game of tag:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, just anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on you blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to you blog and leave one about you.

Hmm...Where to begin? I can say we have so many memories growing up! I remember watching you as the queen in the Mardi Gras parade when you were in 3rd grade. Mom made you a purple cape and you looked so cute. I remember how my whole family came to be at your high school graduation and how proud I was to clap when they called your name. I knew you were the smartest graduate up there, no questions about it! Now that you are all grown up, it is fun to read and comment on each others blogs, read the same books, watch and talk about The Office, watch movies and talk on our cell phones. I am always happy when we can visit, because we share so much in common that we always have fun. We had a good time when we all went to SeaWorld a few summers back. I like how you are such a devoted LSU football fan, like I love my Duke Blue Devils! I think this quote applies: "God made us sisters but we chose to be friends." Glad we are best buddies. I think the nicest thing you ever did for me was when you sent me a card saying that I was the sweetest person you knew and you wanted to be more like me. Made me cry. Anyhow, keep being your funny self! Lots of love from your big sis, Mrs. Becky

I too have many memories of my little girl. I remember insisting on you getting your picture taken for Nathan on his mission or I wouldn't let you go trick or treating. I remember lots of fun times with you and your Brownie troop, especially our fun camp out at Kisatchie. I remember getting Freckles with you and of course I remember going to your soccer games in high school. I love visiting you at your apt in Baton Rouge, and whenever you are willing to share thoughts with me.
